SportsCAD Platinum is our Full Featured Professional product. It utilizes the latest technology available today for superior video quality and incredible tools for video analysis.

SportsCAD Platinum Unique Features

Dual Camera Support - With the newly redesigned capture section, you can have two cameras in your setup from which to choose. You can then choose to capture video from camera one, camera two, or choose to record from both at the same time.

Burn Lessons, Drills And Videos to CD -
SportsCAD Platinum has its own, customized, recording studio. Simply switch to Recording Mode (from Analysis) and press “Start Recording”. All the action in the recording window (videos, drawings, transparencies, mouse movements etc), as well as your voice are recorded to a file. You can then choose to burn this file, and/or student videos to CD. The resulting CD is a completely installable video player program customized for your student.

E-Mail Snapshots to Your Students - This feature enables the instructor to instantly email analysis images to his/her student. The enhanced E-Mail tool option allows for the creation of E-Mail Booklets. These booklets can be sent to multiple e-mail addresses and represent a new way of keeping in contact with the student.

Live Draw and Hot Zones - Display, flip, freeze, and draw on Live Video in the analysis section. The new Hot Zone tool allows you to draw a virtual box on the video that will make a ring tone as your student enters or exits the box.

Calculate Distances - By simply calibrating the video with a known distance, you can get measurements in feet or inches by simply drawing a line.

Motion Trace with MPH Readings - Trace a complete motion by following the path of an object from start to finish. This tool then displays the complete path of the motion, and automatically highlights the fastest portion of the motion. New additions to this feature include a calibration tool, which provides an accurate measurement of speed in MPH.

SportsCAD Platinum Main Features

Full Screen Analysis -The analysis section displays video from edge to edge, eliminating the clutter that you normally see in other programs from functions that you are not currently using.

60 frame per second video capture and playback -
VCRs and camcorders only display 30 frames per second (even in slow motion and freeze frame). SportsCAD GOLD converts this video into 60 frames per second so that you have twice the amount of information to analyze.

Analyze up to 8 videos at a time - SportsCAD GOLD
has multiple screen configurations including single, double (horizontal and vertical), triple (triangular and linear), quad, six, or eight screens.

Enhanced Drawing Operations -
Choose from Freehand draw, square, line, circle, angle, path tool, parallelogram, zone tool, clock grid, arrow, and grid. You control their colors and size too.

Multiple Capturing Methods - SportsCAD GOLD offers 4 methods of capture based on your needs and your capture card. These include Sound Capture, Beep Capture, One-Click Capture, and standard Start-Stop capture.

Multiple Naming Methods -
offers 3 ways to name your videos based on your needs. These include manual naming, detailed naming, and automatic naming.

Best Video Control -
No VCR, camcorder, or other program gives you better control of the video than SportsCAD has to offer.

Total control of video - Play, pause, slow motion, loop, scroll, frame forward & frame backward. With one hand on the mouse, you have more control over the videos than any video camera or VCR can offer alone! Never fumble through a videotape again.

Store Student Profiles - Keep details on your students in the Student Profiles section. This section is fully customizable so that you can keep the information pertinent to your teaching methods.
DV Firewire Support - SportsCAD GOLD supports DV capture which will allow your dv camera to be controlled by the software.

Easy to use Video Database - The video database is extremely easy to navigate. Choose the database (Model, Amateur, etc), choose the student ( John Smith, etc), then choose the video (01-01-01 Side etc). Once a student is selected, he\she will "follow" you in the program wherever you go.

Print one or all videos (with notes) -
Select a video or all videos on the screen, add notes, click "Print".

Transparency Overlay -
This feature is great for showing the difference between 2 videos. 2 videos are "overlaid" so that they are one on top of the other. Step through the motions to see the differences.

Calculate Distance - By simply calibrating the video with a known distance, you can get measurements in feet or inches by simply drawing a line.

Transparency Carve - Carve all or part of a video and move it to another window. Place a perfect motion on top of a student. You can replace any part of your student (upper body, arm etc) with that of a model and play it!.

Clone Drawings from one window to another -
You can draw all of your lines, angles, etc. in one window and "clone" them to any other window (to show differences in the videos, etc).

Create Drawing Macros -
Everyone has their favorite models for instruction. Now you can create stick figures of your model's positions and call them onto the screen on demand.

Create a sequence of frames for printout or display -  Use the MultiPic feature to show a sequential view of the video. This has many uses including the ability to print the sequence to a printer.
Display and Freeze live video in the Analysis section - Trying to get your student in the proper positions? Go to Analysis and turn on "Live Camera". Manually put your student in the right position, click on "Freeze Video", and let them come see what they look like in that proper position.

Keep notes on individual videos -
While in the Analysis section, you can keep notes on individual videos for future reference.

Drawings stay on videos for future reference -
When you call up a video from prior lessons, the last drawings that were on that video will still be there.

Complete Control of Features - Once you get familiar with SportsCAD GOLD, the "Program Setup" section allows incredible control of how the program operates. You can decide on how many screens will be available when you go to Analysis, what color and width the drawings are, how many lines are in your grid, slow motion speed, and much much more.

Show the fastest point of a motion - The "High Speed Point" feature will show you exactly the high speed point of a given motion.

Enhanced Zone Tool -
You can use our "Zone" drawing tool to quickly draw a triangular zone. The space between the 2 planes will then be highlighted in transparent blue.

Enhanced Drawing Edit Bar -
Using our Drawing Edit Bar, you can select one or all shapes in a video to move, resize, rotate and delete.

Lefty Play - C
lick the Lefty Play button to turn a right handed student into a left handed student or vise-versa.

The Import/Export tools - will allow you to import or export videos (as well as drawings) to or from cd, flash drive, zip disk or external hard drive. The exported videos can then be imported into any copy of SportsCAD (Platinum, Gold or Silver) for file sharing or backup purposes. If your students own a copy of SportsCAD Silver, you can quickly copy their videos (and some model videos if you like) to cd or a flash drive. They can then use the Import/Export feature in their software to import the videos.
