60 frame per second video capture and playback - VCRs and camcorders only display 30 frames per second (even in slow motion and freeze frame). SportsCAD converts this video into 60 frames per second so that you have twice the amount of information to analyze.

 Support for Casio Exilim Hi-Speed cameras - The Casio Exilim cameras (EX-F1, EX-FH25 and EX-FH100) work very well in the software, and are capable of higher frame rates (210-300 frames per second).

 Import Video from other sources  - Import Videos from the web. SportsCAD now has a feature that allows support for many different video formats. You can import videos from the web, USB video cameras, webcams, cell phones, and some of the newer hard disc/cd/memory stick camcorders on the market.

 The Import/Export tools -  The Import/Export section will allow you to import or export videos (as well as drawings) to or from cd, flash drive, zip disk or external hard drive. The exported videos can then be imported into any copy of SportsCAD (Platinum or Home) for file sharing or backup purposes. If your instructor owns a copy of SportsCAD Platinum, you can quickly copy your videos to cd or a flash drive. They can then use the Import/Export feature in their software to import the videos.

 Strobe Video - (Home Plus Version Only) The new Strobe Video Tool allows you to follow an object (such as a golf ball) through time.

 Store Profiles - Keep details on your progress in the Profiles section. This section is fully customizable so that you can keep the information pertinent to your goals.

Calculate Distances - (Home Plus Version Only) By simply calibrating the video with a known distance, you can get measurements in feet or inches by simply drawing a line.

 Motion Trace with MPH Readings - (MPH readings in Home Plus Version Only) Trace a complete motion by following the path of an object from start to finish. This tool then displays the complete path of the motion, and automatically highlights the fastest portion of the motion. New additions to this feature include a calibration tool, which provides an accurate measurement of speed in MPH.

 DV Firewire Support - SportsCAD supports DV capture which will allow your dv camera to be controlled by the software. This is the best type of camera to use with the software.

 MultiPic Mode -  Use the MultiPic feature to show a sequential view of the video. This has many uses including the ability to print the sequence to a printer.

 Zoom and Pan Videos- Use the zoom feature to create a better “fit” between videos. Similar sizes makes for better comparisons. You can also zoom in on any particular region of interest.

 Lock up to 4 videos together  - The new video lock tool gives you the ability to synchronize separate videos in different windows at the same point in a motion, and to then advance and rewind the videos on a frame-by-frame basis. (4 screen mode is Home Plus version only)

 Lefty Play - This feature enables you to flip the video so that right-handers are shown as left-handers and vice versa.

 Easy to use Video Database - The video database is extremely easy to navigate. Choose the database (Model, Amateur, etc), choose the profile ( John Smith, etc), then choose the video (01-01-01 Side etc). Once a profile is selected, he\she will "follow" you in the program wherever you go.

 Enhanced Drawing Edit Bar - (Home Plus Version Only) Using the Drawing Edit Bar, you can select one or all shapes in a video to move, resize, rotate and delete.

 Show the fastest point of a motion - The "High Speed Point" feature will show you exactly the high speed point of a given motion.

 Keep notes on individual videos - While in the Analysis section, you can keep notes on individual videos for future reference.

 Print one or all videos (with notes) - Select a video or all videos on the screen, add notes, click "Print".

 Create a sequence of frames for printout or display -  Use the MultiPic feature to show a sequential view of the video. This has many uses including the ability to print the sequence to a printer.
